Long Term Evolution (LTE)
In telecommunication, LTE (Long Term Evolution) is a standard for high speed wireless communication for mobile devices and data terminals, based on the GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSPA technologies. It increases the capacity and speed using a different radio interface together with core network improvements. LTE is the upgrade path for carriers with both GSM/UMTS networks and CDMA2000 networks.
Since LTE is widely used worldwide, Etisalat and Du have modernized their equipment to use LTE besides 2G and 3G.
Mainly, we have installed and commissioned LTE equipment in 37 sites and 2G equipment in 46 sites for Du through Nokia.
Site Deployments
Successfully installed 2G & LTE equipment across multiple Du network locations, ensuring wider high-speed coverage.
4G Capacity
Delivered LTE upgrades for NOKIA projects, boosting network performance and paving the way for next-gen services.
Commonly marketed as 4G LTE and advance 4G. For markets like UAE, the frequencies used are 2 GSM bands, 1 UMTS and 2 LTE bands. (For 2G – 900 & 1800 MHz, for 3G – 2100Mhz, for 4G – 1800 and 2600 MHz)
Capacity Augmentation
As a Subcontractor to esteemed Clientele like NOKIA for Du, we offer services of installation and commission of LTE Equipment, which leads to increase in the capacity and speed using a different radio interface together with core network improvements.
