In Building Solutions (IBS)
This is an in-building cellular enhancement system, commonly implemented in conjunction with a distributed antenna system (DAS) and is a telecommunications solution which is used to extend and distribute the cellular signal of a given mobile network operator within a building.
Many of the buildings in any developed city like Dubai are high raised buildings and are examples where mobile phones are unable to properly reach the carrier's macro or outdoor network. In these environments, the in-building cellular enhancement system will connect to the carrier's signal source which is typically a bi-directional amplifier or Na base transceiver station. By this arrangement, the cellular network will have excellent coverage, high call success rate, no call drops and best voice quality. Our proven quality of service made us a reliable partner of cellular operators, viz. Etisalat, Du and also Esharah.
Signal Flow
Reliable transmission from carrier to every corner.
Antenna Placement
Zero call drops. Maximum voice clarity.
In-Building Cellular Enhancement system will connect to the carrier’s signal source, transmitting and receiving the mobile network operator’s licensed radio frequency. Coaxial Cable transports frequency within the building. Strategically placed In-building coverage antennas ensure best overall coverage for you and you get excellent coverage, high call success rate, no call drops and best voice quality.
Effective Communications Network
Our performance has been very much appreciated by Ericsson (main contractor for Etisalat), Nokia (Main contractor for Etisalat & Du) and Esharah.
The work involves mainly
-
Initial technical Survey of the site
-
Laying of co-axial cable & termination, installation of antennae, splitters and tappers a per design drawing
-
Testing of cables and the network for successful operation of 2G, 3G & 4G signals.
-
Installation, testing and commissioning of RBS (Remote Base Station) in the building.
-
Preparation of complete as-built document
We Did…
- IBS projects through Ericsson | 60 projects (138 sites) – all executed
- IBS projects through Nokia | 50 projects (70 sites) - all executed
- IBS project for Esharah | 6 projects completed and 3 under execution
